With several of the Capital League squad having played in the Middlesex Charity Cup tie at Harefield United twenty-four hours earlier, and the Under 18's in action the same night, Woods' fielded a weakened side in this President's Cup tie at Earlsmead. Kyle Matthews - back at Harrow Borough after leaving Northwood for a second time - netted for the home side in the 32nd minute, and for minutes later Tiago Martins added a second. Jonathan Constant scored twice in the second half, on 60 and 88 minutes, as Boro' created numerous chances. Northwood's solitary reply came from substitute Ben Dyett. |
